My Amazing Clan!!

Hi all!  I’ve done posts of other families and I’ve done a couple of posts about 2 of my kiddos.  Now I want to share a few of my whole clan.  This photo shoot was a lot of fun.  I’ve attempted for the past few years to take a successful family portrait but to no avail.  I think they have a hard time switching gears from “mom” to “photographer.”  There was one from years ago.  Once again, I set out to capture my these guys.  We also bought a new vehicle this year.  I’ve waited quite a long time for my full-size SUV, so of course it had to be in the picture too!!  This photo shoot was so much fun!!  We did the normal posed ones, which were good.  But then it was time to get crazy!!  I set up the shot and then had my hubby set the timer.  (Too difficult to set it and then run and jump in the back of the SUV and get into position – quite funny).  My littlest one decided – all of a sudden – to swing around and hang upside down.  Of course, I had to catch her quickly before she landed on her noggin!!   I was at last, successful!!  This has to be my favorite of us of all time!!  I love my little clan!!

 

Beautiful Family

I had the pleasure recently to photograph a beautiful family!  We had such a fun afternoon!!  The kids were totally cracking me up just being kids!!  Thank you all for a wonderful experience!!

 

 

 

 

 

Halloween Tradition

We’ve been in our house a while now.  It has become a tradition to take pictures with our jack-o-lantern after it has been carved.  I can’t believe how fast these girls are growing up.  I hope you enjoy my stroll down memory lane!

Pumpkin Carving

One of the traditions we have every Halloween – like so many others – is carving our pumpkins.  I get asked by the girls over and over, “when are we going to buy our pumpkin?”  Once I finally get it, the next question is “when are we going to carve it?”  We usually wait as close as we can to Halloween, so it looks as fresh as possible.  It was cool this year, the girls got all of the seeds and yucky stuff out all by themselves (to be honest, I like doing that as well)

Next, they had to draw what they wanted on it.  It was so cute, since we only bought one this year, they each drew one half of the face.  Now onto carving.  My supervisors told me where to cut and where not to cut.  “Make sure you don’t cut off the teeth, mom.”  😎  Wouldn’t dream of it.

All in all, it was a lot of fun as always!!!  After we go into the front yard to take pictures with the pumpkin, but that’s another blog still to come.   Hope all of you had an awesome Halloween!!!

Growing Hair

It’s great for an actor when his spouse can shoot his headshots, especially when he wants it done through the stages of his hair regrowth.  The first time my hubby buzzed his hair was when my son was born 15 years ago.  It was definitely a cut I wasn’t fond of, but this time around it’s a totally different story.  I’m not sure what makes now different than then, but it is. However, now he needs to grow it back out again 8-(.    His hair was much shorter than in these recent shots.

Sweet Mints

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while.  Things have been nuts around my life.  I’ve been wanting to do a soccer post, so here it goes.  My littlest one loves to play soccer.  She has played the last 3 years.  She told me once that she wanted to play until she was grown.  It’s good to have goals!  (Get it?  Soccer – goals)  Yeah, yeah I know that was cheesy!!  

This little gal blows me away.  She is tiny but is not afraid to get in the thick of it.  Here she is surrounded by four players from the opposite team, but she keeps fighting.  You go girl!!

Each girl usually has a period where they have to sit out.  They have to occupy themselves somehow!!

 

 

 

Out of Town
